If you've graduated from the University of Exeter within the past three years and are looking for career advice, internship opportunities, graduate-level work or are interested in further study then there's a range of ways we can help you.

My Career Zone

My Career Zone is our system that allows you to search for jobs and internships and browse our FAQs and resources. You will have access to My Career Zone for 3 years after you graduate.

It's important that you update your preferences and contact details in order to continue using the system. Find out more about logging in to My Career Zone and updating your details.

Career information and advice

You are welcome to use our resources in our Career Zones on the Streatham and Penryn campuses. We have a range of resources including employer directories, books and training videos. 

The Career research section of this site has information on different employment sectors, options with your degree and advice on choosing postgraduate study.

We're happy to speak with you and offer you careers information and advice. To arrange an appointment, please get in touch with us.

Our eXepert (careers Q&A) provides you with the opportunity to contact University alumni to gain advice on how to enter their chosen sector, work for a certain company, as well as benefit from possible networking opportunities and contacts.

International students should also look at this support page for advice on working in the UK after graduating.

Internship opportunities

Graduate Business Partnership - The University of Exeter Graduate Business Partnership scheme 

Access to Internships - - Access to Internships (A2I) is a scheme to help Exeter graduates using information, support and funding provided by the Career Zone. If you cannot find the right advertised graduate role or internship, A2I offers you the opportunity to approach eligible employers to ask them to create a role for you, offering a £1,500 subsidy, generously funded by Santander Universities. Visit the A2I web pages for more information and sign-up to receive support with your graduate job seeking. 

Knowledge Transfer Partnership - Paid placements working on challenging projects with the time and financial support to follow a training plan, mentoring support and a high probability of a permanent post at the end.
