Alongside the support available to all students on this website, we provide Postgraduate Research Students and Research Staff with specialist training through the Researcher Development Programme.

Most people with doctorates are employed in non-academic and non-research roles, yet most jobs don’t mention a PhD as a requirement for the job. However once employed people with research degrees often progress more quickly in their chosen career than those without.
