What is the Chaplaincy?

The multi-faith Chaplaincy is made up of 17 chaplains as well as some assistants covering Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Bahá'í.

Simply, we help people to practise their religion and encourage spiritual wellbeing. But you don't have to be religious to make use of the service. We're here for everyone, whether you want to have a discussion about the meaning or life, or a quick chat.

Contact us to discuss issues of faith, life, or any personal matter in confidence.

Where is the Chaplaincy based?

The Chaplaincy covers both the Streatham and St Luke's campuses and is linked with the University of Exeter in Cornwall by the Cornwall Campus Chaplaincy.

Who do the chaplains work with?

  • Student societies
  • Students' Guild
  • University Support Services
  • Our links on and beyond the campus

Contacting a chaplain

We are available to everyone, day or night.

The Chaplaincy has a space in the Forum. To find us, ask at the Student Information Desk, or go past the desk and into the Careers area - we are in the far corner.

There should be a chaplain there most of the time, but if you cannot find us, ask at the desk and they should know where we are.
