Chorister Profile: Bella Woosnam
Decani Soprano

Bella is a third-year Classics student who started singing with us in Autumn 2015. She is also one of the Choir's two social secretaries.

What's been your favourite part of singing with the Chapel Choir?

I can't imagine not singing, and it's such a privilege to sing with Chapel Choir. We race through music so I never get bored. In an emotionally turbulent environment it's great to have an outlet that doesn't involve excessive exercise!

Do you have a favourite piece that we've performed?

Holst's Nunc Dimittis is one of my all-time favourite pieces – I was thrilled when it became a regular in the Chapel Choir repertoire. This is invariably the piece I play at drinks when I judge that we've heard enough Avicii.

What are you most looking forward to in the Choir's schedule for 2016/17?

Our annual tour is always a highlight. What's not to love about jet-setting to an exotic location with one's peers and singing in a number of beautiful buildings? Besides, in the Chapel Choir, we never eschew an opportunity to let our hair down!
