Date: Wednesday 16th September 2020 (further dates to be confirmed)
Time: 7.00pm - 8.30pm
Location: Online via Zoom
Open to: All staff and students (staff are very welcome – the name is simply because the group is affiliated to SCM)

This group is affiliated to the Student Christian Movement and is led by the Lazenby Chaplain (Anglican), the Rev'd Hannah Alderson, and the Baptist Chaplain, the Chaplain: Revd Simon Taylor.

SCM Exeter's aims are:

  • creating community
  • deepening faith
  • celebrating diversity
  • seeking justice

We are all about open and inclusive worship, theological discussion and Christian community. Exeter SCM is an opportunity to come together for a relaxed evening of chat and prayer. All students and staff are welcome – you don't need to consider yourself to be Anglican, Baptist, or even a Christian.

We welcome those at all stages of their journey of faith, and encourage the deepening of Christian faith through questioning and considering different perspectives. We aim to be inclusive of all backgrounds and traditions and we are an LGBTQ+ inclusive community.

You are welcome to join us regularly, occasionally, or as a one-off.

For the Zoom ID and passcode please see the Exeter SCM facebook page.
