Applied Geology and Mineralogy

Applied Geology and Mineralogy research includes projects ranging from pure ‘academic’ geology, through to applied research directly relevant to the earth resources industries. In particular there is expertise in the geological formation and evaluation of mineral resources (including industrial minerals, precious metals and diamonds), environmental mineralogy and geochemistry, geostatistics, applied sedimentology, structural geology and regional geological research.
