The Institute is currently working with the Royal Cornwall Museum on a two-year Knowledge Transfer project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

The Institute is also home to two on-going research programmes:

The Cornish Communities Programme (CCP) which aims to further the study of modern Cornish social history at various spatial levels: local, regional and transnational.

The Cornish Audio Visual Archive (CAVA), an innovative programme for the study and documentation of the oral and visual culture of Cornwall.
