Come along to this unique event at ClayTAWC, St Dennis, near St Austell (PL26 8AF) to hear from two experts in the fields of climate science and solar energy.

Climate Change: Science and Impacts

Dr Stephan Harrison is Associate Professor of Quarternary Science at the University of Exeter and was Head of the Climate Change Expert Committee of the UK Government’s Office for Nuclear Regulation from 2011 - 2017. He will be drawing on his experience to talk about current and future climate change and climate impacts.

Solar Energy: the Future of a Billion Lives

Dr Senthilarasu Sundaram is a leading scientist at the University of Exeter in the field of solar energy and will be sharing the latest developments in this area. Drawing from his own research and expertise, he will be touching on such topics as: innovations in storage and conversion; style and sustainability; what solar energy means for Cornwall; the effect of solar energy on deprived communities around the world.
