Bookable, flexible spaces

The Exchange's first and second floors contain naturally-ventilated and airy spaces of various kinds, to suit a diverse range of needs, from a large, naturally-ventilated and sound-proofed lecture theatre for 116 - on the first floor - to small eddy spaces and learning booths for three to six people, on the second.

There are also plenty of comfortable areas for silent study conveniently close to the main library collections and audio-visual resources. As they do on the first floor, the second floor's teaching and learning spaces interconnect with the social street, but the four of them accommodate groups of sizes ranging from in their thirties to their seventies.
