Studying at the Cornwall CampusThe University of Exeter offers high quality teaching in a research-led environment. Our academics work at the forefront of developments in their fields and in active research centres. Nearly 90% of Exeter’s research was rated as being at internationally recognised levels in the latest (2008) Research Assessment Exercise. Our Cornwall Campus has attracted some of the UK’s leading academics who are at the forefront of developments in their fields, including a number of independently-funded Research Fellows. We believe every student benefits from being part of a research-led culture and being taught by experts – you will discuss the very latest ideas in seminars and tutorials and, in appropriate degree programmes, you will become an active member of a research team. Exeter has one of the highest National Student Survey rankings in the country and has maintained its top 10 position for four years running. In 2008, the University came 4th in the UK amongst ‘full service’ universities, just behind Loughborough and Cambridge*. We are ranked 9th in The Times, 13th in The Guardian and 14th in Sunday Times 2009 league tables, scoring particularly highly for student satisfaction. By studying at the University of Exeter, you can be confident your degree will be backed by a strong academic tradition and reputation with employers for which we are well known. *based on the average of positive responses across all survey categories. Full service universities excludes specialist colleges. Find out more about our Cornwall Campus "The campus in Cornwall is state-of-the-art with world class lecturers at the forefront of research in their prospective fields. That being said, if you need to speak to them they are always available which is the main benefit of such a close-knit campus, most lecturers will know you by name within the first few weeks. The halls are also brand new and on campus with double beds and broadband internet, luxury! Cornwall is a very unique place to study and if you are an outdoors person who enjoys surfing, diving or more conventional sports such as rugby or football this is the place for you."
