International student support
The International Student Support Office is dedicated to advising and supporting non-UK students.We provide:
- pre-arrival information
- orientation programmes
- information on immigration, Visa extensions, post-study work visas
- supporting diversity events on campus
- your International eNewsletter
- working with student societies and events
- workshops
Advice is offered free of charge and without discrimination. The service operates according to the UKCISA/AISO Code of Ethics for advising international students. Immigration advice meets the strict rules and standards of the Immigration Services Commissioner.
Caroline Simons
Senior Registry Assistant (Student Records and Graduation)
Caroline is based at the Cornwall Campus and, from the end of November 2012, will provide one-to-one immigration advice to international students. Caroline will primarily assist current students applying for visa extensions; she can also signpost students to the appropriate help on a wide range of other issues.
