Our role is to enhance our university's global reputation, help build effective stakeholder relationships, and attract and develop students with the potential to excel.

We are committed to developing world-class content; engaging with future students, students, staff and partners to help build an outstanding educational and student experience, develop high quality services and to raise awareness about the University and all its activities.
We engage with stakeholders in the UK and all around the world and have expertise in global partnerships, branding, strategic marketing, event management, digital and traditional media, admissions, widening participation, market research and internal communications.
We bring together communications across the University to promote our world leading research, education and student experience.
We play a key role in delivering the University’s ambition to recruit high potential students from all around the world.
Our purpose is to understand the needs of students and customers and to help the University to make good business and investment decisions using customer and market data. We work closely with colleges and colleagues in the Education and Student Experience Service to produce marketing strategies and deliver tactical campaigns.

We facilitate international excellence in research and promote a world-leading student experience, bringing opportunities to students and colleagues, as well as developing a global culture across our campuses. We build upon our existing international partnerships and forge new collaborations.
