Signage

External

The University’s distinctive blue and white external signage was launched in 2006. The design scheme was managed in the Studio by Delphine Jones, Senior Designer, following the successful rebranding of the University which was also undertaken in-house.

It is essential that all new signs follow the exact specification to achieve consistency in product, wayfinding principles, style, colour, finishes etc.

The Property Services team are responsible for ordering and installing new signs and for the maintenance of the current signs. All requests should be put through David Nairn.

The Studio retains responsibility for design management and all requests for new signs will be referred to Ann Pollard for approval in concept and design.

Internal

The specification for internal signage is not so strictly controlled as that for external signage. However we can recommend systems and work with the architects/contractors or directors of building.
