Role
Hollie works as part of the IIB team delivering ERDF business assists in Cornwall, working in partnership with Cornwall College on the Unlocking Potential – Future Focus programme.
The programme is looking to connect and develop innovative businesses in Cornwall. As an Impact and Partnership Development Manager, Hollie helps connect businesses and academics in addition to brokering relationships, facilitating discussions and helping to build lasting partnerships.
Hollie's interests are in supporting the emerging fashion and textile businesses in Cornwall, using academic leads to help develop sustainable and circular economy led practices and support for start up and larger businesses.
Profile
Hollie studied BA Geography at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2006.
Hollie started her career in Sales and Marketing in the aerospace industry at Morgan Technical Ceramics, specialising in supporting the lost wax casting process supply chain, moving into a role of New Product Development Introduction
In a relocation to Worcestershire, Hollie worked on EU funded business grant programmes for the County Council, including RDPE, ERDF and LEP Growth Programme. In addition Hollie was previously a partner in two SMEs where she aided growth, R&D and innovation processes.
