Impact and Partnership Development Officer (Degree Apprenticeships)

Serena is an Impact and Partnership Development Officer in Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB). She focuses on the early stages of development work for future Degree Apprenticeship programmes. She also works on compliance issues which impact across all programmes such as audit, ESFA funding requirements, submission to Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers and preparation for Ofsted.
Serena also works closely with colleagues in the College of Medicine and Health and the College of Life and Environmental Sciences to support the development of specific new Degree Apprenticeship programmes.
Prior to joining IIB Serena worked for five years at the Alzheimer’s Society in a team delivering dementia support services across Devon.
Her previous roles have been in the charity and housing sectors and in production and editorial departments at publishing houses in London and Devon including Virago Press, the Health Education Authority, Wheatons, Southgate and Rough Guides.
