EPSRC Funding

The Hub for Quantitative Modelling in Healthcare is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Following a successful application to the 2020 EPSRC call for Hubs for Mathematical Sciences in Healthcare, Principal Investigator Professor Krasimira Tsaneva-Atanasova was awarded a grant of £1,231,618, the highest amount of all four successful bids.

The other Hubs for Mathematical Sciences in Healthcare awarded were:

• CHIMERA: Collaborative Healthcare Innovation through Mathematics, EngineeRing and AI. Principal Investigator - Professor R J Shipley, University College London
  
• Cambridge Mathematics of Information in Healthcare (CMIH). Principal Invesitigator - Professor C Schoenlieb, University of Cambridge
  
• The SofTMech Statistical Emulation and Translation Hub. Principal Investigator - Professor D Husmeier, University of Glasgow
