Technical Services Conference 2015

The University of Exeter hosted their first Technical Services conference on 13 July 2015 on its Streatham Campus.  Sessions and workshops at the conference were tailored specifically for the technical staff in the: College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences; College of Life and Environmental Sciences; and the University of Exeter Medical School.

The conference focused on: networking; personal and professional development; Safety health and the environment; and leadership and management.

We launched the following at the event:

  • New Technical Specialist Development Framework
  • HEaTED memberships for technicians. 
  • LTHE training for technical staff.
