Workstream 4 - CPD Tool
The University of Exeter is working with the TDM project in the development of a Continuous Personal development (CPD) tool.
This tool is hosted on WordPress and will serve as a portfolio, e-assessment and personalised tutoring technology.
The platform is designed to:
- Encourage participants to reflect on learning activities.
- Allow them to express their experience in multiple formats.
- Permit sharing and networked learning.
- Allow supervisors to focus effort on developing staff rather than administration.
The University of Exeter CPD tool has now been developed and our CPD server is live. When you have been enrolled, by the site administrator, you should receive an email from “WordPress firstname.lastname@example.org” in your inbox (also check your Junk mail). This will have 2 links: one that will allow you to change your password, and a second link with the log in address.
A user guide wiki has been created to help you get started.
Further details can be found on the TDM website in the toolkit section by clicking on the relevant workstream.
Contact the site administrator if you need a participant/supervisor account set up.
