ECR Liaison Forum

The ECR Liaison Forums are a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Researchers to meet and discuss what their community needs from the University. The forums typically meet four times a year and have representation on various boards across the University, to take ideas and requests forward.

Our ECRNs feed into the ECR Liaison Forum to report on activities, promote events and ask for input or feedback.

Our ECR Liaison Forums continue to develop and now act as a formal route for PGRs and ECRs within the ECRNs to feed into University strategy. Dedicated ECR Reps feed ‘too and from’ the ECR Liaison Forums from several strategic boards, steering and working groups, including the Research and Impact Executive Committee (RIEC), the Exeter Academic Steering Group, the Concordat Steering Group, the Positive Working Group and the Equality and Diversity Board, as detailed in the above diagram.

If you would like more details about the ECR Liaison Forums, how you can become involved, or how you could represent the ECR community, please contact the Researcher Development team.
