Robo Soccer - a Real time Application of Computational Intelligence

Robo-Soccer is a research and educational initiative by Federation of International Robosoccer Associations (FIRA) for developing robots that can play soccer. Apparently, although it is entertainment, it requires interdisciplinary research combining diverse engineering disciplines. The talk will deal with the evolution and different aspects of soccer-playing robots being developed at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and the performance achieved.
