I am a PhD student working under the supervision of Professor Katrina Brown, with external supervision from Dr Beatrice Crona of the Stockholm Resilience Centre. The focus of my thesis is on exploring values of mangrove ecosystem services in Kenya. The studentship is part of SPACES; a new project aiming to empirically test and understand the complex relationship between ecosystem services and the wellbeing of the poor in coastal Kenya and Mozambique.
