Overview

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the UKRI Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Centre for Technology Metals (Met4Tech), focussing on developing circular economy geomodels for technology metals. My work utilises mineralogy, geochemistry and geomodelling to gain insight into where technology metals are concentrated in ore deposits and mine wastes, and consider how circular economy principles (e.g., designing out waste and pollution) can be integrated into geomodels and deposit evaluation.

Qualifications

  • 2015-2019 PhD in Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Mineral Deposits (University of Brighton)
  • 2011-2015 MESci Geology (Cardiff University)

Career

  • 2019-2021 Teaching Fellow and Research Associate in Mineral Resources and Applied Geology, University of Leicester
