The University of Exeter already enjoys successful research partnerships with environmental businesses and organisations within the region, including the European Centre for the Environment & Human Health which is part of the Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry. The Environment and Sustainability Institute will develop existing and forge new partnerships to lead research on diverse issues related to the natural environment.
We envisage that this theme will broadly encompass the following areas:
- Biodiversity science,
- ecological processes,
- agriculture,
- conservation biology,
- land management, and
- disease control.
