Bedrooms

All bedrooms are non-smoking and have tea and coffee making facilities, toiletry pack, clothes hangers, towels, linen, telephone, internet access and mini fridge. A safe is available in some accommodation.

Hairdryers and alarm clocks are not provided in the room, however these items are available from reception. A television is not provided in the bedroom, although there are televisions available in lounge areas.

Telephone

The telephone in the room allows you to make free internal calls. To make external calls you will need to purchase a telephone card from the reception desk or you can set up an account with a credit/debit card.

Instructions on how to use the telephone will be in the room.

Internet

Internet access is available via the telephone line in your room. To activate the internet you will need to obtain a user name and password from the reception, which will be valid for the duration of your stay.

Wi-fi access is available in a number of areas. Details are available from reception.

Reception and check in/out

On departure keys and key cards should be returned to reception. Reception is open 7.30am to 10.30pm.

  • Check in between 3.00pm and 10.30pm
  • Check out by 10am

Luggage storage

A space will be made available at your residence for storage of luggage. The University cannot accept responsibility for any items left.

Meals

All meals will be served in the dining room.

Breakfast will be served from 8am until 9am. The conference programme will provide details of any other meals being provided or changes to specified times.

Laundry

There is a launderette on site with washing and drying facilities. Reception will be able to provide you with details.

Sport and leisure facilities

Each campus has a sports hall with indoor tennis, badminton and squash courts. Residential guests may obtain a temporary membership which allows access to facilities at a discounted price.

Facilities include an indoor swimming pool at the St Luke’s Campus and an outdoor pool at the Streatham Campus (open May to September). Further details are available from the reception staff or from our Sports Park pages.

Shops and refreshments

There are various outlets to eat, drink and shop on the University campuses. Information on opening times and locations are available at reception or from our Cafe and Shops pages.

Car parking

Guests residing in University accommodation on campus may obtain a free car parking permit from the reception desk at their accommodation. Please note that car parking is subject to availability and may not be close to your accommodation. For location of car parks, please visit our directions page.

Day delegates must purchase a car parking ticket from the machines located near the car parks on campus.
