Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Concert Season 2012/13

We're delighted to once again welcome back the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to the Great Hall for their concert season 2012/13, particularly in a year that sees the Orchestra celebrate its 120th birthday.

The Great Hall is the largest academic venue in the South West and with excellent acoustics, it lends itself well to concerts and live performances.  

Tickets for BSO concerts at the Great Hall Exeter can be purchased at Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 4PY, tel. 01392 667080.

On all the performance dates, food and refreshments will be available in the Terrace Restaurant which is adjacent to the Great Hall.

Drinks and refreshments

• Bars located in the Terrace Restaurant will open from 5pm and during the interval offering a full range of drinks
• Facility to pre-order drinks for the interval
• A tea and coffee service availabile during the interval
• Ice cream on sale within the Great Hall

Dining

The Terrace Restaurant will be serving a variety of dishes from 5pm until 7pm, including soup, hot main meals, salad bowls and a selection of sweets. The full menu can be viewed here.‌ We regret that table bookings cannot be taken.

Getting here

The Great Hall is situated on the main Streatham campus of the University of Exeter. It is adjacent to the Northcott Theatre which is signposted from Exeter City Centre. Car parking is available on campus (click here to view a PDF map) but we advise that you allow plenty of time to find a space as it is often very busy.

Buses run from the city centre and St.David's Station is a five minute taxi ride away. Stagecoach bus routes pass through the campus with the bus stop just at the top of Stocker Road. They are routes D and H and run regular 30 minute services from the City Centre all evening. Click on the links below to download timetables.

If you are disabled or a wheelchair user and require a specific seating area, or require a companion to accompany you, please telephone the box office for seat availablity and special ticket prices if applicable, and any other requirements you may have. Blue badge holders can use the car park at the top of Stocker Road.
