Event Exeter, proud sponsors of the Exeter Business Games 2013 to host launch event in the Forum on 31st January.
Date set for Exeter Business Games 2013 launch
Businesses in Exeter who are interested in finding out more about the Games are invited to a free launch event on Thursday 31st January, hosted by Event Exeter in the Forum at the University of Exeter.
Organisers Big Wave Media will give an overview of the planned games along with details of how to sign up. The Exeter Business Games, which will run throughout May and June 2013, comprises of various corporate events such as Ten-Pin Bowling and River Boat racing and is open to any Exeter-based business.
The aim is to promote business networking and employee participation whilst raising funds for local charities via the Exeter Foundation. Last year, over £5000 was raised by Exeter Business Games participants.
Debbi Moore, Exeter Business Games co-ordinator, said: “The Games, which offer a mixed bag of lighthearted and fun events across the city, have gained in popularity over the last couple of years and we look forward to welcoming both old and new teams for the forthcoming 2013 games.”
As well as hosting the launch event, Event Exeter are the main sponsor of the Exeter Business Games 2013. Sarah Snow, Head of Event Exeter and Assistant Director of Campus Services commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring the Exeter Business Games for the third year running. The health and wellbeing of our staff is an important factor in ensuring the success of our business, so it fits our own values perfectly – to have fun, try new activities and meet new people.”
