Things to do on the Streatham Campus
Everything on our self contained campus is within a 10 minute walk, leaving no excuse not to enjoy the many attractions this 300 acre campus offers.
Explore the grounds
Take a stroll through the University grounds and discover one of the most attractive campuses of any British University. Having achieved a Green Flag Award for the last three years the campus is ranked among the best park and green spaces in the country. Have a wander and explore the wildflower fields and the resident wildlife. Grab a book and a bench (or a nice spot of lush green grass) and sit by the pond or in the beautiful botanical gardens surrounding the campus enjoying a read or a people watch.
For a more formal experience, why not book onto an organised tour, where our experienced guide will lead you through the botanical gardens, past lakes and through woodland. The chance to take in many of the rare species of plants and trees. Take a look at the Reed Hall website for more details.
Arts and Culture
If you fancy a little cinematic culture, why not visit the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum, home to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain. Visit on of the regular art exhibitions in the Forum or take a look at the fine collection of sculptures by doing the sculpture walk. Enjoy a live music performance in the Great Hall, from pop, rock choirs and classical music, we have it all. If time allows, take in a show at Exeter Northcott Theatre. For details about live events on campus visit the Exeter Box Office.
Enjoy a taste of Devon
