The University of Exeter's 'Forum' is an exciting new development for the heart of the Streatham Campus, creating an inspirational mix of outside and inside space.

If you are looking for a refreshing new venue in the South West, this inspirational space filled with cutting-edge technology will not disappoint.
The University of Exeter's Forum was officially opened on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 by Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh during their Diamond Jubilee Tour. This exciting new development for the heart of the Streatham Campus creates an inspirational mix of outside and inside space and is currently considered to be the best Higher Education facility of its type in the UK.
Facilities
The development comprises of three main components: The Forum ‘Street ‘ and main Building, the University Reception and the outdoor Piazzas, bring together:
- A variety of formal and flexible meeting spaces - modern and fresh, equipped with the very latest innovative technology, to provide a vibrant and stimulating environment.
- A world-class Auditorium seating 400 delegates; Two, 60-seater exploration labs filled with cutting-edge technology; the Street providing the perfect space for exhibitions; Twelve seminar rooms some with wall to ceiling windows; Light and spacious Reception area ideal for small meetings; Outdoor Piazzas which are home to rgular events euch as the local Farmers' Market and live musical and theatrical performances.
- A diverse and exciting mix of shopping and catering options that are affordable, easily accessible and stock seasonal, locally-sourced goods.
- Arts and cultural activities – from the architectural glass art work by internationally renowned artist Alexander Beleschenko to new music opportunities in the 400-seat Alumni Auditorium and provision of temporary art exhibitions in the Street.
Having hosted numerous large conferences over the summer, the Forum has already proved to be a popular choice and an inspirational, modern event venue.
