Completing a PhD has long been my dream. The study of languages and literature continues to open my mind in many ways, and by pursuing a career in academia I am able to share this knowledge with others.

Alumni advise tomorrow’s business leaders

The University’s Business and Finance Society (BFS) annual dinner was attended by 10 alumni volunteers, some of whom hosted a table for students interested in beginning a career in their industry or job sector.

At the University’s Business and Finance Society (BFS) annual Alumni Dinner, students enjoyed networking and the chance to discuss career paths with Exeter graduates working in a variety of industries. Students apply for their place at the dinner, stating the employment areas where they are most interested when they graduate; alumni volunteers from each area then host a table at the dinner, giving invaluable advice to a group of aspiring business leaders.

The event was held at Reed Hall on Streatham Campus and the alumni who attended hosted a table for the industry they represented:
