The University of Exeter is widely renowned for the quality of its teaching and the impact of its research.
This reputation is borne out in university rankings which now consistently place Exeter in the top ten in the UK and the top 100 in the world. Our Cornwall campuses, home to 10% of our students, have contributed hugely towards this success, flourishing as distinct entities in their own right.
The Penryn campus is ranked in the top ten for student satisfaction by the National Student Survey, while centres of research excellence such as the historic Camborne School of Mines, the Environment and Sustainability Institute, the European Centre for Environment and Human Health, and the Centre for Ecology and Conservation, put Cornwall at the cutting edge of discovery and innovation.
Over its first ten years in the county, the University’s activities in Cornwall have generated thousands of new jobs and helped inject £491m into the local economy.
