Further Information

We're committed to making Exeter Award and Exeter Leaders Award activities as accessible as possible. If you have any specific learning requirements, e.g. those detailed in an individual learning plan, please let us know of any accommodations we can make before you attend. You can do this by emailing exeteraward@exeter.ac.uk

We expect you to treat the Exeter Award and the Exeter Leaders Award activities with the same approach as you would do a professional meeting or engagement. As such, if you can't attend a session you've booked into for any reason, please remove your booking using the 'cancel booking' function on Handshake. If you are 15 minutes late or more to a session, facilitators reserve the right to turn you away.

If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice, please contact the Career Zone explaining why you won't be able to make it.

The Interview Experience and the Leaders Award Presentation are the two final stages of our Awards. You need to complete them whilst still a student at the University of Exeter. If you are a final-year student, we cannot book you a place on an Interview Experience or Leaders Award presentation if you have not completed all the prerequisite activities.

Please bear in mind that for either Award it will take time for your application form to be marked, so allow yourself plenty of time to attend the final activity to complete your Award. Demand for places on the Interview Experience and Leaders Award presentations is high in the final term and we cannot guarantee there will be places available – the earlier you submit your application in the year, the greater your chances of completing before you leave.

Both the Exeter Award and Exeter Leaders Award will appear on your HEAR.

The components set out above are to be viewed as an indication of the criteria and level of commitment required to complete The Exeter Award and Leaders Award. The University, Students' Guild and Students' Union reserve the right to change this structure in part or full at any point without prior warning.
