All information on the UCAS form is taken into account to determine who merits an offer and the level of offer made.
The majority of our offers are made at the higher end of the range in recognition of the potential of the applicant but everyone is treated on an individual basis.
Contextual information and other relevant information are taken into account and that is why offers can differ. It may also mean that offers outside the usual range may be considered.
It is important that everyone is suitably qualified academically and linguistically, and a decision to make an offer and its level will be taken looking at the application as a whole and not just predicted grades or actual examinations achieved.
GCSE (or equivalent) grades are considered. Applicants are expected to have at least grade B in GCSE English and Mathematics but preference is given to A grades in these subjects.
