Final year programme – Flexible Combined Honours

AccountingThere is one compulsory final-year Accounting module:

  • Advanced Management Accounting BEA3017 (15 credits)

and

  • Accounting option modules chosen from those available within the Accounting discipline, e.g.:
    • Advanced Corporate Finance BEA3018 (15 credits)
    • Corporate Law BEA3015 (30 credits)
    • Advanced Financial ReportingBEA3020 (15 credits)
    • Governance and AccountabilityBEA3021 (15 credits)
    • AuditingBEA3022 (15 credits)
  • the choice may include modules available in the Business School that are relevant to accounting such as: business statistics, economics, human resource management, international business, strategic management, etc.  (Note: this is done to provide flexibility for students; but discretion on module choice will be exercised by the Accounting subject coordinator and FCH director on which modules can be included)

to make a total of 60 credits in this half of the overall Flexible Combined Honours degree programme.

If approximately half your second- and final-year modules are in Accounting, you would be able to have a BSc as your degree award.
