Visual cultureThere are no compulsory Visual Culture modules in the final year.

Follow your interests through optional modules. There are many available and they vary each year, e.g.:

  • Visual Culture Dissertation - AHV3000 (30 credits)
  • Contemporary French Visual Culture - MLF3066 (15 credits)
  • Techniques of Suspended Judgement - AHV3001 (30 credits)
  • The Face - AHV3003 (15 credits)
  • and there may also be visual culture-related modules in other departments

to make a total of 60 credits in this half of the overall Flexible Combined Honours degree programme.

More than 60 credits of Visual Culture can be taken each year if sufficient relevant modules are available, so that this could become the main element of your degree title.
