First year programme – Flexible Combined Honours
Three compulsory Economics modules are taken:
- Economic Principles – BEE1029 (30 credits)
- Business School Development – BSD1000 (non-credit bearing) – employabilty module
Either
- Basic Mathematical Economics – BEE1020 (15 credits) (if A-Level Maths has not been taken)
or
- Mathematics for Economics – BEE1024 (15 credits) (if A-Level Maths has been taken)
and 15 credits chosen from level one Economics modules available in the Business School, e.g.:
- Personal Financial Management – BEE1021 (15 credits)
- Introduction to Econometrics – BEE1023 (15 credits)
- State and Economy – BEE1014 (15 credits)
- The Philosophy of Economics – BEE1015 (15 credits)
to make a total of 60 credits in this half of the overall Flexible Combined Honours degree programme.
