In term one:

  • Introduction to Film Analysis - EAF1503 (30 credits)
  • An Introduction to Film History - EAF1504 (30 credits)

In term two:

  • Major Debates in Film Theory - EAF1501 (30 credits)
  • Trans-national Cinemas - EAF1505 (30 credits)

FCH students can take a maximum of 60 credits of Film Studies modules based in the English Department each year (i.e. with a module code starting EAF...). There may also be Film-related modules in other departments (e.g. Modern Languages, Visual Culture, Sociology) which can be taken in addition to the 60.
