RussiaFirst year programme - Flexible Combined Honours

One compulsory Russian module is taken during the first year:

Either (for those with Russian A-Level):

  • Contemporary Russian Written and Oral - MLR1001 (30 credits) (terms 1 and 2)

Or (for those beginning Russian):

  • Russian Language for Beginners - MLR1030 (30 credits) (terms 1 and 2)

If you want to take 60 credits of Russain studies, rather than just the 30 language credits, you can choose an option module from those available that year:

  • An Introduction to Russian Literature - MLR1022 (30 credits) (terms 1 and 2)
