Archaeology excavation

One compulsory Archaeology module is taken:

  • Either:
    • Archaeological Fieldwork Project - ARC2003 (30 credits)


    • Archaeological Fieldschool - ARC2004 (30 credits)

And two optional modules from the Year2/3 ones available that year, e.g.:

  • Medieval Castles in Context - ARC2406 (15 credits)
  • Introduction to Egyptian Archaeology - ARC2402 (15 credits)
  • Forensic Anthropology - ARC2514 (15 credits)
  • Hunter-Gatherers: Archaeology and Ethnography - ARC2107 (15 credits)
  • ... the choice varies each year. The current list is under Archaeology on the College of Humanities' modules web page.

to make up 60 credits in this half of the overall Flexible Combined Honours degree programme.

More than 60 credits of Archaeology can be taken each year to make that the main part of your studies.
