Second year programme - Flexible Combined Honours

Second year Geography modules are chosen from those currently available, e.g.:
- Catchment Hydrology and Geomorphology - GEO2221 (15 credits)
- Historical Cultural Geographies - GEO2119 (15 credits)
- Political Geographies - GEO2120 (15 credits)
- Social Geographies - GEO2122 (15 credits)
- Living Natures - GEO2123 (15 credits)
- Learning from Experience - GEO2315 (15 credits) (only available to students who have not taken another similar ‘learning from experience’ module in another discipline and cannot be taken at the same time as another such module)
- Human Geography Field Trip - GEO2308 (15 credits) (only open to students taking Human Geography Practice - GEO2310)
- Physical Geography Field Trip - GEO2307 (15 credits) (only open to students taking Physical Geography Practice - GEO2309)
- Theory, Space and Society - GEO2312 (30 credits)

If you intend doing a Geography dissertation in your final year you must take one specific Geography module, according to the type of dissertation. This underpins prepartion for the dissertation. A Geography dissertation cannot be taken if these modules are not followed.
For a Physical Geography dissertation:
- Physical Geography Practice - GEO2309 (15 credits)
For a Human Geography dissertation:
- Human Geography Practice - GEO2310 (30 credits)
Flexible Combined Honours students can take up to a maximum of 60 credits of Geography in each year of their degree programme.
