Transfer for after first year

Student seminarAs your interests develop during your first year you may find that your existing degree programme does not allow you to follow the particular things you wish to pursue.

Flexible Combined Honours (FCH) may provide a way of following your own particular interests and ambitions.

You can apply to transfer to FCH during your first year, for your second and subsequent year(s) of study.

Transfer is usually straightforward, provided that what you want to study is viable and you pass your first year modules.

Contact us during your first year to talk through possibilities.

Transfer during second year

Students relaxing on campusMost students apply to transfer into Flexible Combied Honours during their first year, to commence FCH from their second year.

You can also apply to transfer during your second year, for immediate move to FCH, or during the summer vacation prior to the start of your second year.

Such transfers really need to have been completed by very near the beginning of the academic year, otherwise too much teaching will have been missed in a new subject area.

Contact us as soon as possible, if you want to transfer during your second year or during the preceding summer vacation.
