Module Enrolment and Pink forms

Each year you take a number of modules, totalling 120 credits overall.

You enrol on no more than 120 credits in any academic year.

Details of what modules you must take in your first year and where you have choice are listed by subject at: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/fch/first-year-study.php

Enrolling on your modules is by means of a pink form. This is in your Welcome Pack given to you during the FCH welcome session.

Please verify that your details are correct on the top of the pink form and mark any changes required.

The pink form given to you may already have modules listed. These may be compulsory/core modules and/or optional modules that you have already told the subject areas you would like to take.

Each line indicating a module choice must be initialled by the department which “owns” the module in order to authorise your choice. Usually it is the FCH subject co-ordinator who does this or the subject area student support office. A list of FCH co-ordinators, and where they can be found, is at: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/fch/subject-co-ordinators.php

You will need to have a list of modules adding up to 120 credits (usually 60 credits in your two subject areas). See the relevant subject area FCH co-ordinators for help in choosing appropriate and sufficient modules. Mike Dobson (Queen's Building, room 47) can also help with overall module selection.

It is essential that you enrol on all modules for your programme for the academic year in order to complete your University registration.

If your Personal Tutor name does not appear at the top of the form then please see Tim Seelig in the FCH office (Queen's Building main reception area).

The pink module form must be returned to Mike or Tim in the FCH office (Queen's Building) no later than 4:00 pm on the first Thursday of the October term.

The form is then checked and if all is ok, signed by Mike. All forms need Mike's signature to be validated.

If you are having difficulty completing this form please see Mike or Sharon for help.

The ADD/DROP period for you to make any changes to your initial module enrolments closes at 4:00 pm of the second Friday of the October term. Please let Mike know if you intend making changes to modules; they will need approving as they affect your programme.

If you are in doubt about any of this information see Mike or Tim in their offices or email them (both are on: fch@exeter.ac.uk). We are here to help!

If you have not registered with the University AND enrolled on all your modules by the deadline then you will be de-registered, deemed withdrawn and your IT and other University access will be revoked.
