Finance Services
A Financial Framework for Colleges has been developed which gives parameters to Colleges as to how to manage their financial affairs.

Planning, management and reporting

The University operates a system of devolved financial management. Colleges and Services are supported in this by central Finance Services staff.

There are a number of key financial management activities that take place through the year. These include:

  • Month end close down
  • In year financial monitoring and forecasting
  • Year end closedown
  • Financial planning

Additional guidance and support for Colleges is set out under College Accounting processes and procedures
