51. Capital and Major Refurbishment Contracts

51.1. All capital and major refurbishment contracts will be authorised and monitored in accordance with the Capital Planning and Project Approval Procedures

51.2. Building procurement is subject to procurement procedures and legislation. The threshold values and the associated procedures are published by Procurement Services. Particular care must be taken to ensure that works and associated services that exceed the EU threshold or which are funded by external grants follow EU regulations.
