26. General
26.1. The Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring that appropriate procedures are in operation to enable the University to receive all income to which it is entitled. All receipt forms, invoices, tickets or other official documents in use and electronic collection systems must have the prior approval of the Director of Finance.
26.2. Levels of charges for non-regulated academic fees and for residential rents will be approved by the Vice Chancellor’s Executive Group (VCEG).
26.3. Other fees and prices must be set with due consideration to the Full Economic Cost (fEC) and ensuring a proper system of control and review.
26.4. The Director of Finance is responsible for the prompt collection, security and banking of all income received.
26.5. The Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring that all grants notified by the funding body and other bodies are received and appropriately recorded in the University’s accounts.
26.6. The Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring that all claims for funds, including research grants and contracts, are made by the due date.
