40. Voluntary funds

40.1. The Director of Finance shall be informed of any fund that is not an official fund of the institution, which is controlled wholly or in part by a member of staff in relation to their function in the University.

40.2. The accounts of any such fund shall be maintained as a “third party account” within the University’s accounts and shall be subject to the University’s standard operational financial procedures.
