Art Galleries on Campus
The exhibitions and galleries around the campus
There are two galleries at the University, which regularly display work by local and nationally acclaimed artists.
The recently furnished Northcote House Gallery has two exhibitions annually. Exhibitions here include Kurt Jackson, Neil Canning, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Sir Terry Frost, Alan Richards, Alan Cotton and Bridget Riley.
The Gallery in the Arabic and Islamic Institute often shows work of the Eastern Mediterranean.
The public are welcome to visit any of these exhibition spaces. Indeed, the University relies heavily on sales from these exhibitions in order to finance the next exhibition and to enable purchases to be made from the exhibitions.
