In all matters relating to a non chargeable Forum Booking, The Forum Operation Manager’s decision is final. On the day of the booking, in the absence of the Forum Operations Manager, the decision of the Forum Concierge is final.
Any damage caused to the Building or furniture will be charged for in full.
The Forum cannot be used for commercial gain through this booking process.
The Forum is a teaching space, working space, and a library. Loud Noise will not be tolerated.
It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that all litter is cleared away and that the site is left how it was found.
You may not move your position from that allocated by the Forum Concierge.
If deemed necessary, a Risk Assessment must be submitted at least 2 days prior to your booking. Student Guild Bookings – contact o.murrish@exeter.ac.uk for assistance.
No posters may be stuck to fixtures or fittings within The Forum. Signage stands are available on request.
The Forum is a busy building, please be aware of other building user’s at all times. Activities deemed unsafe, or putting others at risk will be terminated immediately.
Due to the nature of the building, bookings may have to be rescheduled or moved at short notice. In all instances The University will try to accommodate the booking in a suitable manner. No recompense (financial or otherwise) can be sought in the event that a booking has to be altered.
These terms and conditions are not exhaustive – a common sense approach will be applied to all requests and bookings. In all circumstances, the integrity of The Forum will be paramount.
Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may lead to immediate termination of your event/booking.
