Collecting your robes

You can collect your robes from the Sanctuary (previously known as the Lower Examination Hall) where representatives of the University's robe makers will be in attendance from 7.45 am on the day of the ceremony.

In order to avoid queuing we request that those attending the 11.45 am ceremony do not collect their robes until after 8.30am, and those attending the 3pm ceremony do not collect their robes until after 11am.  Collection for the 9.00am ceremony ONLY can also be made between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Friday 18th January.

Please note that queues may still form so it is best to allow plenty of time for collection.

Please ensure that all robes are returned before 6 pm on the day of your ceremony.

You may find it useful to take safety pins to hold your hood in place.

Spare guest tickets

If you have guest tickets that you are unable to use, please visit the Student Information Desk (SID) in the Forum on campus.

Children

Children attending a ceremony must be prepared to sit still for an hour and a half. We advise that children under the age of five should view the ceremony via the live video link on campus, accompanied by an adult. Please note that children are not allowed to cross the stage with their parents.

Receptions

Your College is delighted to welcome graduates, friends and family to a reception on the day of your ceremony. All receptions will be held in the Forum Street following your ceremony and last for roughly an hour and a half.
