Overview
Role
Belinda is an Impact and Partnership Development Officer (IPDO) in the Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB) team, working in the Culture Theme team.
As well as supporting Impact across the Theme – which includes Place-shaping and the Arts, Heritage Innovation and Creative Economy – Belinda also works one day a week as the Arts Officer for Exeter Cultural Partnership (ECP).
Hosted within IIB, the role is funded by the University of Exeter, Arts Council England, Exeter City Council, Exeter Business Improvement District and Exeter College, and will provide administrative and communications support.
ECP’s recent work has been to improve communications, build confidence and develop opportunities for sharing learning across the arts and culture ecosystem. The new Culture Officer will provide capacity to ensure that ECP continues to develop in direction and effectiveness.
The new collaborative funding model increases ECP’s sustainability, and enables greater reach through website improvements and social media activity. While attention to this area of activity during 2015-17 established a solid platform for this, the period 2018-20 will see a significant reach to new audiences. The ECP assistant will support this area of work in particular.
