Lauren Ireland is the Marketing and Communications Assistant at the Environmental Futures & Big Data Impact Lab and is responsible for raising the profile of the Impact Lab and ensuring clients and stakeholders have a positive experience of taking part in Impact Lab activities.
The Impact Lab is a regional development programme £6.4m part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and consists of seven partners: University of Exeter, Met Office, Rothamsted Research, University of Plymouth, Plymouth College of Art, Exeter City Futures and Plymouth Marine Laboratory.
The objective is to stimulate inward investment and productivity-led growth by positioning Devon as a national and international centre for environmental and Big Data analytics. This will be achieved by bringing the area's world-class R&D assets and data together within a business-focussed innovation ecosystem that stimulates and supports the development of new products and services.
